The Elite Cavalry is the most mobile and most powerful mounted group of troops in the Kingdom of New Armes for the Royal Guard. This cavalry does not use horses, but rather Kangacrons, a very intelligent bipedal creature that is faster, stronger, and more maneuverable than a horse.
While not native to New Armes, dozens were once sold to New Armes by the Island Nations Federation nearly a century ago. Since then, they have been bred and trained for combat by the Royal Guard. Today, there are nearly 1000 Kangacrons and Riders. At full charging speed, they are nearly unstoppable.
The Elite Cavalry has not only the best riders in the land, but also, some of the best warriors. Many of the Elite Cavalry riders go on to become Palace Guardsmen if 1 of the 100 positions become available.
