Lake Opal is the smallest of the 3 great lakes in New Armes. However, Lake Opal is very special in that much of the lake's floor bed is filled with the rare and highly colorful opal gems. Thus, when the sun light hits the water it starts to shimmer with many different colors. One famous poet once described it as "swimming in a rainbow." Due to its rare beauty, the small lake is a popular tourist attraction for the rich and poor alike.
